Pack 12 first experimented with this event at a Summer-time event. It generated enough Cub Scout interest to be added in 2002 as an annual event at the End of Year Picnic.

Scouts build and decorate their sailboats from parts in a kit. They then use their breath power to race the boats down raingutters modified for this event.
